Black Rock Revival was founded by lead singer and guitarist Sebastian Banks in Memphis, TN. "The idea for band came to me after going to rock n roll shows and seeing no black rock bands. So, for two years I looked for black people who had a love for rock music." says Sebastian. After seeing a need to revive rock n roll In the black community, Sebastian came up with the name "Black Rock Revival" BBR's goal is to make rock music people can dance too. The band has performed at the Hard Rock Café, Hattie Lou Theatre as well as other hot venues in Memphis, TN. Their first album Coco White was released in the Spring of 2009 along with their new web site www.blackrockrevival.com. The band has seen great success thus far and expectations are high for the future.
